After surviving her own bout with breast cancer, Myriam recognized a need to provide aid and comfort to all those who are confronted by this terrible illness. In 2004, she founded the Mimi Ullens Foundation to support what has become eight wellness centers located within hospital oncology departments – each year.
- Preserving beauty, well-being and dignity are an integral part of cancer. The Mimi Ullens Foundation offers patients, if only for an hour or just a few minutes, a moment of relaxation during which they can forget their illness and replenish their resources to fight it.
