The New-York’s Belgian-American Chamber of Commerce, or BelCham, has welcomed Myriam Ullens for a Captain session, last 7th of February. During one hour, Myriam and her husband, Guy Ullens, exchanged about their entrepreneur life and her last project, Distant Starless Nights.
Looking back at her life experience, Myriam Ullens expressed that to start a company, you first of all must believe in what you do and have a dream. Thus you need to have passion; that’s your energy.
Then when asked what advice she would give to aspiring successful businessmen and women she said, “Find a good team, believe in what you do and give yourself 5 to 8 years to reach your target”.
With regards to her first novel, Distant Starless Nights, available on Amazon, she thinks that “If readers have a wonderful moment when they read my book, that’s enough for me.” This is one of her reasons to write.
Then as conclusion for the last question “What would you like to hear at the pearly gates?”, Myriam answered with humor “Back to work!”
What an inspiration for entrepreneurship!
